The 56 line firefighters are split into four groups that staff the three stations on a rotating shift 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Each satellite station has 12 firefighters assigned to it (three firefighters per shift) while the remaining firefighters are assigned to the headquarters station. Each shift is assigned one Officer in Charge who oversees the daily operations of the firefighters on duty across the city. The OIC is assigned to the headquarters station and operates a 2009 Ford F-250 command vehicle.
