Beverly Fire Department

A History of Service

Fire Prevention

The Beverly Fire Department Fire Prevention Office is responsible for reviewing plans and conducting inspections to keep people living and working in Beverly safe from fire hazards. Fire Lieutenant Bill Fiore and Inspector Steve Tanzella have all had long careers fighting fires with hoses and helmets, now they have turned to fighting fires before they start through plan review and code enforcement. Bill, and Steve have the responsibility of making inspections to new construction as well as reviewing the plans for new construction to ensure fire codes are met.

The Fire Prevention Office also handles permitting for everything from oil burner installation and tank removal, to fire works and displays.
