Chief Paul Cotter took the reigns of the Beverly Fire Department on January 31. Chief Cotter is a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program and well respected member of the Department for more than 25 years. During his tenure with the Department, he has served in the roles of firefighter, company officer and officer in charge. For the last seven years, in addition to being the Officer in Charge of Group 3, Chief Cotter has been in charge of the Department's Fire Investigation Unit.
